Mr. Muhammad Asif is a distinguished public financial management and policy expert and legal professional with over two decades of experience in governance, policy formulation, public administration, public financial management, and Revenue administration. He holds a Master’s in Public Management from the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School of Government (USA) and LKY School of Public Policy (Singapore), where he specialized in public policy, economic reasoning, leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. His academic background is complemented by a Master’s in English (Language & Literature) from Punjab University, Lahore, and an LL.B. from B.Z. University, Multan.
Mr. Asif’s broad experience, coupled with his international exposure, equips him to provide valuable insights into governance, policy, and public administration, making him a key asset on the board. He has vast experience of sitting Boards of Public Sector Companies to represent Ministry of Industries and Production and Ministry of Finance. A Civil Servant from 28th Common Training Program (CTP), he has served in various positions like Joint Secretary (Admin & Finance), Industries & Production Division, Joint Secretary (Budget, Expenditure and Investment) in Finance Division, General Manager NHA, Collector Customs, Islamabad and Special Assistant to the Minister for Finance and Revenue. He is certified Director of Boards by IBA.
