The signing ceremony took place at the Police Headquarters in Karachi, graced by Honourable Chief Minister Sindh, Mr. Murad Ali Shah, Honourable Home Minister, Mr. Zia UL Hassan Lanjar, Honourable IGP Sindh, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Memon, and CEO of SLIC, Mr. Shoaib Javed Hussain. The agreement was signed by DIG Establishment, Mr. Naeem Sheikh, and Executive Director of SLIC, Dr. Aftab Imam.
Mr. Memon, IG Sindh, remarked, "This partnership highlights the indispensable role of our police officers in maintaining public safety and security. It is imperative that the dedicated men and women police officers have access to comprehensive health insurance coverage, ensuring their well-being as they bravely perform their critical duties. Because those who protect us deserve nothing less than the very best protection."

Under this initiative, each family will receive health insurance coverage worth PKR 1 million per annum, covering inpatient hospitalization and OPD services. Additionally, families can avail cashless inpatient health services at over one thousand empanelled private and public hospitals across Pakistan. To facilitate a smooth transition and utilization of these benefits, State Life will conduct awareness sessions for Sindh Police employees, ensuring they are well-informed about the procedures involved.
