Shoaib Javed Hussain, CEO of SLIC, stressed the importance of united efforts, stating: "This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering women with essential knowledge and resources. Prevention and early detection remain our most effective tools in combating cancer and protecting the future of our country. Through Sinf e Ahaan , State Life’s Cancer Protection Plan for women, and this awareness campaign, State Life and our partnered hospitals in Punjab are taking decisive steps to ensure that women across Pakistan have access to critical healthcare and financial security during challenging times. These efforts mark a significant step toward a healthier, more equitable nation."
With one in nine women in Pakistan at risk of developing cancer, the need for awareness and preventive measures has never been more urgent. SLIC’s initiative is the first step in tackling this national health issue and serves as a powerful reminder that awareness saves lives.
